Twilight Fans – What about the Twilight series do you like about it?

I was just wondering about what makes it good and your opinion on it. I’m planning on reading the series so no spoilers!

I like the characters of the books and the way that stephanie meyer has taken a genre and redefined it is amazing to me.

She takes these characters like bella and edward and makes them real to us, she narrarates their lives and make them seem like your best friend. When reading these books she makes it so we, the readers, fall so passionately in love with this couple we walk away caring about them.

It is not only Bella and edward people care about, we love emmet and alice who were always so cool, rosalie who we feel we understand now after reading eclipse, carlise and esme who only want to do right in this world and are so caring, and my very personal favorite.. jasper. He is one of my favorite literary characters ever. I don’t know exactly why but I just love him so much.

These books just seem almost real, I think thats why people like it, its why I like them.
