Who was the best actor to play The Master?

How does John Simm the most recent Master compare to Roger Delgado or Anthony Ainley or even Eric Roberts? Should Simm play the role again or make way for someone else, and if so who?

I think John Simm said once that he gets bored if he plays the same character for too long which is why Life on Mars only ran for two seasons. It’s pretty unlikely he would reprise the role of the Master especially as he ‘died’ at the end of season 3. Personally, I think Anthony Ainley was the best Master. I would love to see the character of the Master return to Doctor Who, I think the guy who played Azazel in Hex would be a good choice to play the Master if they decide to bring him back.
