Children’s Book about bears?

I used to read these books about colourful bears who had a Dalmatian. i think they all had human names, like James and Robert etc. Does anyone know what it was called?
the bears were all primary colours too i think…

So I felt bad that you didn’t have any answers so I did my best to find something.
There’s a dalmatian named Fred and there are five bears. It’s a series by Susanna Gretz. This is a picture of one of the books. Hope this is it!
