Surviving Crushes
How do you survive high schools freshmen friday?
i entering high school and i need advice on surviving freshmen friday with one of my friends who most likely would be crushed on the first day how could i help him and me
Just realize that high school is a joke. Beyond “Study and get good grades” I’ll give the following advice: Don’t buy into the PC nonsense they cram down your throat, but be ready to give the answers “they” want to hear.
There is life after high school- and if you’re not a popular kid (jock/cheerleader/whatever) and you don’t suck up to them because you realize there’s more to life than their shallowness, then you’re way ahead of the game, and you’ll do better in life in the long run.
The best the “high school elites” who look down on others can look forward to is usually some degrading job in which they scramble for a bit of power so they can continue to abuse others (managers at jobs in which employees are usually high-school students, cops in small towns, or government- LOL).
Their “successful” or “best” years will only be in high school. If you play your cards right, yours will be the rest of your life, so don’t worry about the pitfalls you will encounter along the way during those few short years (especially the few first days). My advice- study hard, be friendly, and don’t be too embarrased/shy when you want to say something to someone.
Looking back 10 years after graduation, I realize Everyone was insecure- but most of all the bullies and big-mouths who had something to prove (they probably knew it at some sub-conscious level, and took their frustrations out on others while they could).
