Well at least since the time of the Aztecs the chocohlics have known about the euphoric effects of chocolate. Now scientific research has shown that Chocolate increases endorphin levels in the brain hence the great feelings. Moreover, chocolate is full of antioxidants so eating a little dark semi-sweet chocolate each night protects your health at least as much as drinking a glass of wine.

OK many of these recipes are standard recipes that I have acquired over the years from different sources and I’ll find more but some are my own ideas. I will remain anonymous at least for now. After all if you are a chocohlic you better not reveal who you are.

However, I’ll let you know that I do have a bachelors in chemistry and masters in biochemistry as well has having done three years of neurochemical research. I only mention this since whether we realize it or not cooking is chemistry and my academic background has led me to do much experimental cooking. So I’ll try different new things which make sense from using chocolate in new and yum yum tasty ways.

I love food which are good for you. So one day I’ll reveal my simple way of making chocolate covered prunes. Here we have two foodstuff which are both full of antioxidants so we get a treat which is sinfully good for you so the devil can become a sweet angel again.
