Before Halloween
What is a canela plant? Why doesn’t it grow? It hasn’t done anything since I bought it before halloween.
I bought this plant at Ikea before Halloween. Sinc then it hasn’t grown any new leaves or branches. The leaves are starting to turn yellow even after watering and fertilizing. When does it start to grow?

There are different varieties of Canela. They are found in both India and the rain forests of South America as well as china depending on which variety you have. The botanical name is Cinnamomum and the Cinnamomum zeylanicum is from India.
Succeeds in most soils[57] but prefers a fertile sandy moisture-retentive well-drained soil in full sun or light part-day shade. Tolerates a pH in the range 4.3 to 8.
